The Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions outlined below, are hereby agreed upon when renting a bin from Seaway Disposal Services Ltd. (SDS).
Rental Period
Bin rentals always remain the sole property of Seaway Disposal Services Ltd. (SDS).
Prices listed on your invoice are inclusive of the agreed rental period (3-day or 7-day option). If a customer requires the bin longer, a $20/per day charge will apply up to an additional 3 days.
If a rental is required beyond that period, the customer will be charged for another weekly rental at full price (less included disposal fees), this charge will be $305 for a 15 yard bin and $335 for a 20 yard bin.
Please note, it is the customers responsibility to notify SDS by email or phone, when their bin rental is ready for collection.
Loading your Bin
The max fill line of your bin rental is the top rim.
It is important that you do not load your materials higher than this, as there are safety considerations, and we will refuse to collect an overloaded bin.
At time of collection, if we determine the bin to be overloaded and a collection is not possible, you will be charged an Attempted Pick-Up Fee of $75. As well, additional rental days may be charged at $15/per day for exceeding the rental period, until a safe collection can occur.
Liability for Damages
Any damages to the Bin Rental above normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the customer.
Seaway Disposal Services Ltd. (SDS) will take a photo at the time of drop-off to keep on file.
Prohibited Items
The below items are not permitted in any of our Bin Rentals;
No Hazardous Waste
This includes but is not limited to; explosive, flammable, corrosive or toxic materials – including propane tanks, fuel, motor oil, car batteries and paint.
No Appliances Containing Freon
This includes but is not limited to; fridge, freezer, air conditioner, dehumidifier
No Asbestos Containing Material
Mixing Garbage with Dense Material
Including Dense Material in your Bin rental will result in an additional charge.
This includes but is not limited to; asphalt, dirt, sand, brick, and stones.

Other Charges
Listed below are other customer charges which are not included in our standard listed agreement prices and will be payable upon receipt of invoice.
Weight Overage Charge
If a Bin Rental exceeds the included weight at time of disposal, Seaway Disposal Services (SDS) will charge a prorated fee at the rate of $150/ton back to the customer.
Surcharged Items
The below items will incur additional disposal fees;
Appliances: $50 per unit (not including appliances containing freon)
Mattresses/Box Spring: $30 per unit
Tires: $20 per unit
Bin Relocation
If a customer requires a bin to be relocated during the rental period, a $75 charge will be incurred.
Payment Options and Surcharges
Cash, eTransfer, Visa and Mastercard are accepted
Please note: 2.9% surcharge will be applied to all Credit Card transactions
Full Payment is due upon delivery of your bin rental.
Any additional charges that have been incurred will be invoiced within 5 days of pick-up and due payable upon receipt of final invoice.
